Our Algarve “Eureka“ variety lemons are grown without the use of synthetic pesticides and herbicides. After harvesting the ripe lemons, we clean and sort them so that you receive only the freshest product. We also add 10% free of charge to make up for any that become inedible or perish during transportation.

Grown under the warm sun of the Algarve, these juicy lemons embody nature’s finest. Using the principles of biodynamic farming and permaculture, each lemon is carefully nurtured. Storage

In the Fridge: Store them in the refrigerator’s crisper drawer, ideally at around 10°C (50°F). This keeps them fresh for up to two months.

In a Cool, Dry Place: If you prefer to keep them out of the fridge, store them in a cool, well-ventilated spot. Arrange them so they don’t touch each other to prevent moisture buildup and potential spoilage.

Avoid storing citrus in airtight containers, as they need some airflow to stay fresh longer!

Our orchards are small, with each tree nurtured by hand and the region’s warm Mediterranean breezes. Because of this, our citrus may not have the “perfect” glossy peel that’s often prized by supermarkets. But don’t let a little natural texture fool you! Cosmetic standards have nothing to do with flavour, and at Algarve Oranges, it’s what’s inside that counts.
